more fun in August

Playdate with friends at the house.  I watched 2 extra kids one morning for a friend.  So I had 4 kids in the house.  It wasn't bad because Jaxon had a playmate.  I think having 2 children on a regular basis is just the right number for us. Callie decided to blow bubbles for Kaelyn and Kaelyn thought it was hilarious.

Its been so nice lately Jaxon wanted to eat outside.  So we had a picnic and had some friends over.

Big Toy Day in Lexington at the airport.  We went with some friends to see construction vehicles, helicopters, airplanes, etc.  The boys loved it.

Picking Peaches and Grapes

We went to a local orchard to pick peaches and grapes. I was so excited about what we had planned to do as a family.  I had gotten up early and packed our lunches.  We were in such a hurry to leave that I forgot to grab our lunches.  I figured it out once we were about an hour away at the orchard.  I was so sad but we found a hamburger place that Brian was wanting to try so we had our own little picnic outside the restaurant.  The kids loved it.  It all worked out and we had a great day.  Jaxon loved it and enjoyed the ride to the orchard behind a tractor.
