I spent way too much money on the girls haircut, but Kaelyn desperately needed a bang trim and Hadley was starting to get a mullet.
Cousin Ally met us at the park on a 60 degree day. Jaxon brought a small bouncy ball and ended up loosing it because he decided to throw it up on the roof of one of the park shelters. A nice boy he made friends with, who was probably around 13, saw that he was sad and ended up giving him one of his cool toys.
Hadley loves to undress herself. She is talking alot more. She loves to say "No"
We had sleet and ice came and we lost power. We lost it at 5:30am and we didn't get it back until 1:30pm the next day. Everybody was awake at 5:30am when the sound machines went off and it was dark. Thank goodness for batteries for our camping lanterns and sound machines. Brian made coffee in our french press and pancakes on the camping stove.
Hadley has been on nap strike for at least a week now. Brian says Kaelyn was like this. During naptime she will fuss off and on and then stand up in her crib. At bedtime she will fuss for a little bit and then finally go to sleep. Instead of putting her bed and then to do devotions, prayer time, and singing with Jaxon and Kaelyn we include her and the transition to bed seems to go easier. I think she thought she was missing out. Its sometimes hard to have her in there with us because she plays and is distracting, even though I know she needs to be included.
