In the van on the way to school Jaxon was talking about the pledge of allegiance. He said I wonder if the people that don't know God recognizes that God is mentioned.  Whenever I hear that I remember that He is with me.

This month I decided to take the plunge and get Kaelyn to wear undies.  I was so nervous because we are in the car alot.  She has done really well.

Which tie? My grandad's tux was passed down to us.  Brian was able to wear it to my cousins wedding and it fit him, now to decide which bow tie to wear.  I think my grandad last wore it to our wedding in 2009.

Went to Walmart with no kids, went out to eat alot, and heard live jazz music at a local fancy hotel
then on Sunday went to Hanging Rock and hiked 9 miles


Perfect attendance assembly.  Thankfully Jaxon hasn't missed any school.  He has stayed healthy all year.

February 2019

We went to Boone and Brian and Jaxon and Kaelyn went skiing.  Hadley and I found things to do around Boone and watched the big kids ski.  Thankful for a children's museum in the area and the ability to wear Hadley on my back.












Jaxon got a hold of a piece of cake at school (which contained chicken eggs) in the middle of January and has had ulcers in his mouth and a stomach ache. We ended up taking him to a GI dr at Brenners. He was excited to get a toy and a stuffed animal there. 

Kaelyn was so excited for the Father Daughter Dance this year.








Jaxon dressed up for the 100th day of school.

We had fun adopting a widow this year for Valentines.  The kids made a card and we delivered yummy goodies to her.

Last minute Valentine decorations for the kids.  I wrote on the door why we love each of them.  We also went on a secret mission to daddy's work and broke into his truck and decorated it.





Brian and I got away for a much needed weekend away for "The Weekend to Remember" marriage conference.  My parents came to watch the kids.  We ended up running into friends there from our church.  We had great food, great conversation, much needed rest and kid free time.

Hadley loves to help us sing Jesus Loves Me at bedtime

Jaxon had an incident at school where there was some teasing regarding Jaxon and Maggie being friends.  Another student said "Jaxon and Maggie sitting in a tree"  Thankful for a teacher that was sensitive to what was going on and addressed the class.

Jaxon loves to build things with daddy in the garage. 

On nice days we enjoy going to the park after school. 

Kaelyn broke one of Jaxon's toys so we decided to collect all her stuffed animals she sleeps with except one for the night.
