We had an Easter Extravaganza at church. They told the Easter story, had lots of fun games including the big inflatables, and food. This was the first time Jaxon really enjoyed the inflatables. We love how our church focuses on the real meaning of Easter and has something fun for the whole family.
Kaelyn has started saying da da like non stop. She is definitely all girl. She has tried cereal and carrots this month and seems to like it. Big brother loves to help feed her. She has rolled over more especially in her crib. Usually when she wakes up she is sporting a mo hawk. She loves to stick her tongue out. She tends to be a content little girl.
Jaxon has learned the pledge of allegiance in his BSF (Bible study fellowship) class. At home he found the orange flag we put on the back of the bike trailer and pretended it was an american flag. With some assistance he can say the pledge of allegiance. He loves spending time in the garage on his tricycle. He finally learned how to peddle and he loves it. He loves to run around the house. One day he said, "Mommy I'm getting injury out" (energy)
Sometimes he wets his bed or even poops in his diaper at naptime or bedtime. The pee tends to go through the diaper. So I've had to change his diaper and or change his sheets. When I'm done and headed out of his room he he says "mommy thank you changing me" He's so sweet.
Jaxon has been having some bonding time with daddy at night during his bedtime routine. Brian will bathe him, read him a bible story, pray and sing with him. Lately is been fun because you can actually have a conversation with him. Jaxon understands that mommy and daddy have Jesus in their heart but sister and him do not. The other day when we were driving home from the park he randomly said "Mommy I'm asked Jesus in my heart" It melts my heart.
Pictures of friends and other fun stuff
We had our pictures taken for the church directory. They didn't have to talk us into buying the pictures. We just had to buy them because the kiddos were so cute.
Happy 5 months. She is growing way too fast
