Memorial Day weekend fun

We decided to pick strawberries one last time and they were picked over but managed to get some.
Kaelyn loved to be on my back.

Memorial Day weekend we went to Boone with Brian's parents.  We grilled out some hamburgers for lunch, went on a 3.8 miles hike to a gorgeous view, and ate some yummy food at Hob Nob Farm Cafe (our favorite restaurant there).  We still can't believe Jaxon hiked the whole way.  He liked used Paw Paw's hiking stick and he had to make sure he was always the line leader.  Kaelyn was carried in the hiking pack.  It was her first time in it and she loved it.

Monday while Brian was off he took Jaxon out for breakfast and then they went fishing.  He didn't like the worms so much but loved using his fishing rod.  I love it when they get to spend time together.

We went to Ridgefest for like an hour before it started to thunder and lightening. Jaxon got to ride one ride and then pose in the monster truck for a picture before I took him off since it was lightening.
